Hola y Pura VIDA! My name is Liz Rebecca Alarcon and I have just graduated from the University of Miami [ ]_[ ] with a double major in International Studies and Sociology, and a minor in French. I am an avid reader, a self-proclaimed foodie and nothing fulfills me more than pursuing altruistic adventures while traveling. This has led me to my latest endeavor: embarking on a Fulbright research grant for 10 months in Costa Rica! This blog is a way to fulfill the mission of the Fulbright program: promoting closer educational relations between the people of the United States and those of other countries.
It’s also a way of staying close to my family and friends, and keeping you all up to speed with my experiences here in the happiest country on the planet! Enjoy!
